We are looking for an experienced South Indian cook and Indian cook(COMMI I,Commi II) , who has a healthy respect for food and tastes to join the our restaurant.
-Experience preferred in south Indian cooking
-Must have worked for min. 3 years in the food industry
-Should have regional cooking knowledge
-Knowledge of cooking Dosa, Uttappa, Idli, Medu wada and poha and other south Indian items.
-Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
-Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food
-Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
-He should have knowledge of and will operate the equipment in the kitchens
-To maintain hygiene standards of self and the kitchen
Estimate expected food consumption; then requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage.
SALARY:-DHS800-DHS1000. WILL BE INCREASED IF THE WORK IS GOOD.ACCOMODATION AND FOOD PROVIDED
