A US high-tech innovative software solutions company located in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia is seeking a self-motivated, technically strong IT Technical Software Support Engineer to join the team. As a Technical Software Support Engineer, you will be actively managing local IT infrastructure & end-user environments, providing IT services and support to business users.

Job Responsibilities include:
Perform and support project implementation of Company’s software including on-site configuration, software installation and integration with clients’ enterprise data systems such as SAP PM, Meridium, OSI-PI, Primavera, etc.
Provide on-site end-user software training, technical support and trouble shooting.
Review project proposals to determine time frame and technical requirements for accomplishing projects. Planning, performing, and coordinating activities of projects.
Establish work plan for project implementation including resource allocation and coordination with clients. Ensure that goals of the project are accomplished within a given time frame.
Conduct meetings with clients and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction with the delivered software solution.
Prepare project reports for management, clients and others.
Provide phone support and technical assistance to end-users.
Participate in technical reviews, evaluate new technologies, make recommendations, and serve as a technical lead on local/regional projects.
Work closely with customers and partners as situation demands to resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment/production run.
Troubleshoot and resolve customers reported issues with complete ownership and dedication.
Team-player, self-motivated, able to execute tasks independently and professionally supporting critical business environments.
The successful candidate must have prior software applications implementation experience including:
Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited university.
Technical engineering background and knowledge of mechanical / process plant operations and maintenance.
Professional certification in Microsoft development, SQL, Oracle or equivalent is a plus.
Minimum 5+ years of IT experience in system administration, technical support, troubleshoot preferably in a multi-national firm.
Proven experience in software applications implementation, database management and applications SAP, Meridium, Oracle etc. in the oil & gas sector.
High level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments.
Writing skills to document new or existing processes and training.
Excellent communication, customer relationship skills, and working experience in supporting critical business environments.
